The 2006 NBA Finals was the championship series of the 2005–06 National Basketball Association season. The Miami Heat won the title in six games over the Dallas Mavericks, becoming the third team, after the 1969 Celtics and the 1977 Trail Blazers, to win a championship after trailing 0–2 in the series against the Mavericks. Miami Heat shooting guard, Dwayne Wade had won the Most Valuable Player award, (MVP), of the series. My thoughts about the series was that the Heat had showed much effort to come back in the series and play to their fullest potential to beat the Mavericks. After the Mavericks had taken the lead 2-0 in the series, they kind of just laid back and didn’t play with much effort. So when teams go to that point, of which they become overconfident with their game, then the other team most likely will surprise them and make a move on their bad mistakes.

The 2007 NBA Finals was the championship series of the 2006-2007 National Basketball Association season, and was the conclusion of the 2007 NBA Playoffs. The best-of-seven series was played between the Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs and the Eastern Conference champions Cavaliers. The Cavaliers entered the Finals as their first in franchise history and the Spurs had entered into it as their fourth time. But as of the past, results have it as the Cavaliers losing in the finals badly, 4 games to 0 games against the reigning Spurs with a lineup/ coach that are outstanding in understanding and playing the game of basketball. My thoughts of the series as of the stats and teams, was that the the Spurs were just a more experienced, well coached basketball team with records and stats that are unbelievably true, than the young, beginning Cavalier basketball squad that just wasn’t ready for what was coming at/for them.

The 2008 NBA Finals were held June 5 through June 17 of 2008, to decide the winner of the 2007–08 NBA season, and conclude the season’s playoffs. The Boston Celtics, top-seeded champions of the Eastern Conference, defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, top-seeded champions of the Western Conference, four games to two in a best-of-seven series. What I thought about the whole series was that the Celtics outmatched the Lakers with their well, better, prepared coached team. The Celtics dominated the series against the Lakers. The Lakers had their chances to get back at the Celtics, but the Celtics were just too defensive, holding their ground while bouncing back at the Lakers, destroying their confidence to win the finals.

Nowadays Poverty. What I thought about what was going on with the poverty nowadays is that people are struggling every single day to survive through the rough days and nights while the rich and wealthy just lay back, sit and do nothing about the problems that the poor are facing. While the poor are trying their hardest to stay alive, the wealthy just continue on with their days and don’t even pay attention to what else is going on throughout the world instead of just what they’re focused on. The reason why people are so poor especially in Park Avenue, New York is because taxes are high and everyday people try to look for a job and gain money, or even try to find some food to eat, so they can strive throughout their rough, harsh days of their miserable lives. The wealthy continue to gain huge amounts of money and they continue to do wealthy acts while the poor citizens struggle daily to live.

The 2009 NBA Finals was the championship series of the 2008-2009 season between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic. With the Lakers winning the western conference and the Magic winning the eastern conference, they both clashed in the Finals series. The series was played to 5 games with the Lakers easily stealing the trophy. During the series, kobe led the Lakers to victory and success by performing with unstoppable offensive scoring drives and outstanding defensive stops, turnovers. What I thought about how the Magic played was that they played below average against the well coached Lakers. The Magic weren’t coached well enough especially as they entered into the finals to compete against one of the top teams in the NBA. The Lakers were well prepared ready for any challenge that awaited them. So that is why the Lakers had stolen the title so easily against the unmatched Orlando Magic.

The 2010 NBA Finals was the championship series for the 2009-2010 season between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. In that year the Lakers and the Celtics were both the reigning teams to compete against each other in the Finals with the Celtics being the eastern conference champions and the Lakers being the western conference champions. In the finals series, both teams went back and forth at each other, but as always, there’s one team to win it all. The series was played to an astonishing 7 games with the Lakers defeating the Celtics 4-3 in an outstanding competition between the two. The Celtics were very good and competitive but when it came to playing the Lakers, their greatness wasn’t good enough to overcome the Lakers and defeat them in the finals.

The 2011 NBA Finals was played between the Dallas Mavericks and the Miami Heat. During the series the Dallas Mavericks, western conference, defeated the eastern conference, the Miami Heat in a 4-2 deficit. Back then, the Miami Heat was the first team that I ever started watching once I became involved with basketball and how the game was played. What I thought about the Heat during their time against the Mavericks was that they were playing with fire, intensity, but as the series of games went on, their intensity started to drop as the Mavericks capitalized on the their errors and mistakes. So after that great season the Heat had, they planned to work harder for the next year, for better improvement.
